Howard was a resident of the community for over 69 years. He belonged to many civic organizations, served on many social committees, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Seventy-five years ago, November 1935, Howard took a step with fate and officially embarked on a career as Santa Claus in a Rochester department store.

Orleans County Resident Chosen as Playboy's Miss September

A resident of Holley, Orleans County — a town of roughly 1,800 people — will be showcased in one of the most well-known magazines in the world.

Model Olivia Paige, 19, will bare all as “Miss September” in the latest issue of Playboy magazine, on newsstands Friday.

Paige’s journey to the cover began in August 2009, when she flew to Las Vegas with her mom to audition for Playboy Special Editions (a series of specialty publications ). While there, Paige was approached by a casting director for a new Playboy TV reality series called Playboy Shootout.
